PRESS RELEASE
BK Geveldragers, a pioneer in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the construction sector, announces a new milestone: the launch of AutoBIM.be.
BK Geveldragers, known for its innovative brickwork supports and the successful implementation of an AI-driven calculation module, is once again taking a major step in the digitalisation of the construction sector.
Today we are introducing AutoBIM.be, a platform where architects and construction companies can upload their building plans to contribute to the development of an AI algorithm that analyses and interprets building plans.
The ultimate goal is to be able to automatically generate a BIM model based on the 2D building plans.
Users can upload their 2D building plans and the platform will automatically generate a complete bill of quantities. At a later stage, our aim is to also generate a BIM model based on the uploaded 2D plan.
This contributes to our ongoing efforts to increase productivity in the construction sector through digitalisation. To achieve this, however, we need thousands of building plans to train the model and fine-tune it where necessary. That is why we invite companies from the construction sector to share their building plans via AutoBIM.be.
By taking part in this project, companies can contribute to ongoing innovation in the construction sector and help improve the accuracy and efficiency of the AI module.
"We have seen a significant increase in productivity since we integrated A.I. into our workflow. Where we used to need half an hour to prepare a quote, we can now do it in just three minutes. With AutoBIM.be, we aim to extend this efficiency to the entire construction sector", says Bart Lauryssen, founder of BK Geveldragers.
BK Geveldragers remains committed to digital innovation.
"Our goal is to offer our customers a fully self-service portal."
We invite you to visit AutoBIM.be and take part in this exciting new phase of digitalisation in the construction sector.
